Born and raised in the city of Mumbai, Rahoul Daswani earned his Bachelor in History and Political Science from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. In 2007, he began his career in the city’s film industry without a film school degree. In 2010, he made his first short film ‘The Four Wheeler‘, which brought him a job at one of India’s top production houses, Vinod Chopra Films, where he directed the behind-the-scenes episodes of ‘Rajesh Mapuskar’s Ferrari Ki Sawaari‘ (2012) and ‘Rajkumar Hirani’s PK‘ (2014).
He then joined the team of India Take One Productions. ‘Ghost Protocol‘ (2011), ‘Life of Pi’ (2012), ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ (2015), LION (2016), ‘Silicon Valley’ (2016), ‘Hotel Mumbai’ (2018) and ‘Love Sonia’ (2018) are just a few of the films he has worked on.
